Summery chemo hats

I found these fun cotton, summery hats by Jennifer on Ravelry and just had to make them! They are so cute and such fun colors! I used Sugar n Cream cotton yarn by Lily. I made one for each of my granddaughters and a a couple for our local cancer center. I attached pink braids on the one for my youngest granddaughter so she'd keep it on better but forgot to get a picture after I attached them. This is a picture of her before I added the braids. I thought I had taken a picture of her sister wearing the hat I made her but didn't see it when I went looking to add it here.

The hats below I made for cancer patients. They appear to not be shaped very well but once they are on they are shaped nice as you can see by the picture of my granddaughter wearing hers. The flowers are a little different than the pattern called for. The flower on the orange and pink hat is the same as on Jennifer's pattern but the other flowers I got from Mary Jane Hall's pattern. By the way, I also love the hat pattern that she made with this flower and it's also on my list to make. I guess I need to start a list over to the side of all the patterns I eventually want to crochet so I have them all in the same place.
